Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Wednesday night declared the preliminary results of 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination which was conducted in February. The results for BPSC prelims examination can be accessed from the official website of State Commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The updated syllabus of BPSC was published for the 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Main) Competitive Examination on Tuesday on the official website of the commission.
The BPSC exams were conducted in 390 centres on amidst allegations of the paper leak. The exam was largely conducted peacefully at all its centres except for D.B.K.R.K Jalan High School in Patna City.
A number of students who had appeared in the BPSC preliminary examination at the centre alleged that the question paper for the exam had been leaked.
On the other side, the commission also refuted the claims of the paper leak. Base on the number of complaints, six candidates were arrested for creating ruckus at the examination centre.

SSC CGL Tier Answer Keys

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination 2017 answer keys on their official website today on September 7, 2017. Candidates who were eager to know how they have performed in the SSC CGL Tier I examination would be able to analyse their performance by downloading the answer key and compare it with their answers.
Almost 20 lakh candidates took the SSC CGL Tier I examination in 2017 of which around 10% would qualify for the SSC CGL Tier II examination to be conducted on November 10 and 11, 2017.
Candidates will be interested to know how they stand after the examination and count the marks they can expect after SSC CGL Tier I examination after comparing their answers with the official answer keys released by SSC.
How to Download SSC CGL Tier I 2017 Answer Keys
  • Candidates need to visit the official website of SSC.
  • On the homepage, candidates would have to click on the Answer Key button at the top.
  • Clicking the button will lead to a page where the candidates need to choose the active link of ‘SSC CGL Tier I 2017 tentative answer keys’
  • Candidates will be able to download the answer keys of the specific day and code of their examination paper from the website by providing their roll number and password.
  • Candidates need to provide their examination date as well before submitting. 
  • Candidates can take a print out of the PDF file and compare their performance with that of the answer keys published by SSC.
If candidates are not happy with the answer keys and want to challenge, they can do the same from September 9 to 12, by paying Rs. 100 for every answer.

The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTE) declared the results of Bachelor of Education (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses on Saturday. The results were announced on their official website – vtu.ac.in. These exams were conducted in June and July this year which was attended by at least 1.2 lakh students studying for the CBCS courses in the first and second years for the 2016-17 academic year. The results of semester fifth and sixth were also declared on Saturday day for non-CBCS BE and BTech students in all regions..

According to reports, the university on Friday announced results for the first, second, seventh and eighth semester BE and BTech non-CBCS results. Students can not just check but also download their results on the website. With the help on USN, candidates can download their results.
In regions, such as Mysuru, Belagavi, Kalaburgi, CBCS results of semester third and fourth year for BE and BTech are also available. Results for semester six of non-CBCS MCA and BArch for semester 10 are also declared on the website.
VTU announced that from today, students can apply for revaluation of their marks by filing the form online. The last day for this without penalty is September 9. The revaluation fees are Rs 400 per subject and the photocopy costs Rs 300 per subject. Both undergraduates and postgraduates students can apply for revaluation in the given time. If the students score less after the reevaluation, then his/her original marks will be retained, announced VTU. To apply for revaluation, students have to visit the website preexam.blr.vtu.ac.in for Bengaluru region while for other regions, it is preexam.vtu.ac.in. They have to enter and login id and password. The pay application fees to fill the form is Rs 20.
